At Need Base India, we are dedicated to safeguarding and revitalizing the environment for future generations. Through initiatives such as lake rejuvenation, agroforestry, and tree plantation, we play an active role in building a sustainable ecosystem.
Lake Rejuvenation:
Our lake rejuvenation projects focus on restoring natural water bodies to their pristine condition, ensuring clean water, and promoting biodiversity. Through cleaning, desilting, and revitalizing lakes, we have successfully rejuvenated over five lakes, benefiting local communities and wildlife alike.
Agroforestry:
Our Agroforestry initiative integrates sustainable tree-planting with crops to increase ground-level water and rejuvenate soil. It enhances farmers’ livelihoods by diversifying income sources through timber, fruits, and crops. Fostering green cover also significantly contributes to improving the environment and combating climate change
Tree Plantation:
We recognize the crucial role of green cover in mitigating climate change. By planting native tree species, we have helped to grow over 1,000 trees in government schools, parks in both urban and rural areas, improving air quality and creating habitats that support local wildlife.
