Being Social

Through Being Social, Need Base India harnesses the power of volunteerism. Dedicated volunteers engage in teaching, sports activities, fun events, and celebrations with the children at homes run by NBI, enriching their experiences.

Bhumi

Known for its volunteer network, Bhumi has linked Need Base India with committed teachers who enhance children's subject knowledge in Science, Maths, and English, contributing significantly to their educational journey.

eVidyaloka

eVidyaloka is a social enterprise committed to digital learning solutions. Since our collaboration began, this initiative has reached 4,000 children across 40 schools in 25 villages in Raichur, Koppal and Yadgir district of Karnataka. Together, we are improving the educational outcomes of children in grades 5 to 8 in rural Karnataka, empowering them with knowledge and skills for a better future.

Feeding India

Feeding India ensures food security in our residential homes. They support Lakshya Udaan Home, Sneh Ghar, and Rainbow Home with nutritious meals. This initiative helps children grow and learn without food insecurity.

Gift Abled

Gift Abled supports children with disabilities and has been a staunch advocate for Need Base India's programs. They connect us with passionate volunteers who dedicate their time and special occasions to support the most vulnerable children.

Pragathi Charitable Trust, Bengaluru

Need Base India has been supported by Pragathi Charitable Trust, benefiting 70 children at the Pragathi Boys Home in Jayanagar. The trust has also facilitated valuable connections with dedicated volunteers, strengthening our human resources.

Project SparkL

Partnering with Project SparkL, Need Base India focuses on bridging educational gaps for children in six Residential homes. Through strategic after-school programs in English, Math, and Kannada, Project SparkL has improved foundational literacy and numeracy skills across six residential centers, monitored through standardized tests and observational assessments.

Rainbow Foundation India (RFI)

Our partnership with Rainbow Foundation India (RFI) began in 2011 with the establishment of a residential home for 25 girls in Jalahalli, Bangalore. Beyond financial assistance, RFI has played a crucial role in strengthening our capacity, facilitating knowledge-sharing, and fostering collaboration with other child-focused organizations. Through this partnership, we have positively impacted over 200 girls, 150 boys, and 60+ youths.

Rise Against Hunger

Since 2016, Need Base India has collaborated with Rise Against Hunger to provide nutritious meals, including quality rice, to 210 children yearly. This partnership ensures that children receive two hearty meals weekly.

Smile Foundation

Partnering with Smile Foundation since 2016 under the 'Mission Education' program, Need Base India has provided remedial coaching and nutritional support to children from 1st to 10th grade. This collaboration has significantly enhanced the Sneh Ghar Program by supporting 140 children.

United Way Bengaluru

Since 2024, we have collaborated on health initiatives in government schools. We have reached 3,600 students across eight schools with health camps. Additionally, we provide menstrual hygiene awareness for schoolgirls and young women.

United Way Mumbai

Since collaborating in 2017, Need Base India and United Way Mumbai have undertaken impactful initiatives which include Child Road Safety program, Helmet for Life, Lake Rejuvenation projects, installation of water purification systems, sanitation improvements at Government schools.
